This is actually a black bonnet but the lighting gave it a blue hue. It's very soft and the tag says it's 57% rabbit hair, 5% wool and the rest are synthetic materials.Wednesday, November 28, 2007
My son's skin is so smooth. I guess most children, if not all, have very smooth skin. *sigh*Sunday, November 25, 2007

A pineapple wood postcard I got when we were away on vacation in Hawaii. I didn't send it to myself, I just bought it (^_^)Thursday, November 15, 2007
I was going to show my matryoshka dolls too but Hazel posted hers already so I wanted to do something different instead, for variety. This is my Candyland pen game. The game pieces hide in that compartment. With that closed, the whole thing is the same length as an ordinary pen.

Just one of the things that I collect - keychains. I guess I have around 300 already which I hang from twines tied to the curtain rod.Tuesday, November 13, 2007
Cutting off my son's old jeans to turn them into shorts. The waist still fits but the length is short for him already.Saturday, November 10, 2007
Cheers! It's not a jello shot mind you, hehehe. That's me and my best friend right now, my medicine. Thankfully I'm feeling much better. The first day of colds for me is the worst (that was yesterday) so good thing that's over and done with. I guess your well wishes helped too (^_^)

Ok, I don't really want to expound on this for fear of jinxing it (see how anxious I am?) but they called me last night and we'll be seeing "them" on Saturday.Wednesday, November 7, 2007
I'm not confused about this anymore but I'm sure you will be. Have any idea what it is?No it's not Cousin Itt from the Addams Family. This is called a Vakul from Batanes, Philippines. It is a woman’s native headgear and covers the head up to the waist to protect the women from the heat of the sun and the rain. It is made from the abaca fiber of the palm found only in Batanes that locals call vuyavuy. They say it takes three weeks to a month to make one of these, but it lasts a lifetime.

Now we're going to focus on emotions but we can't use the human face to reflect that. First up is sad. This tiny potted plant sits on top of a tall bookcase. I found it lying on it's side already, the pot cracked and very dusty. Just goes to show you I don't pay any attention to their part of the world.
