I love these drawers. This is a jewelry case that my mom gave me and each of these drawers holds something different in them. There's also a glass door over these drawers like the one on the right. The other half of this is for necklaces, you can see some of my pearls peeking in the corner.Tuesday, October 30, 2007
This dreamcatcher has always been in our bedroom. It actually has 4 dreamcatchers, one large and 3 small ones with feathers. I got it during our honeymoon so this will be 7 years old already in February.Monday, October 29, 2007
They say that your eyes are the windows to the soul. Not sure what my eye can tell you about my soul but that's the best I can do today. Our home windows are not very interesting, just some dirty old blinds on it so I chose to do another window for today's prompt.

Have you ever seen a rainbow cloud?Taken in June of this year, this is what is known as a circumhorizontal arc ... "The arc isn't a rainbow in the traditional sense—it is caused by light passing through wispy, high-altitude cirrus clouds. The sight occurs only when the sun is very high in the sky (more than 58° above the horizon). What's more, the hexagonal ice crystals that make up cirrus clouds must be shaped like thick plates with their faces parallel to the ground. When light enters through a vertical side face of such an ice crystal and leaves from the bottom face, it refracts, or bends, in the same way that light passes through a prism. If a cirrus's crystals are aligned just right, the whole cloud lights up in a spectrum of colors."—Victoria Gilman
Amazing isn't it? I was picking up my son from school when I saw this and we literally ran home so I could get my camera and take pictures. This is a rare occurrence and we're so lucky we saw this.

We are to show something we love about our Hallway but in our tiny apartment, we don't really have a hallway to speak of, so I chose this one from our Foyer instead. This is a set of 3 short swords I got in Canada. The steel blades are not sharp but the tip can hurt. We plan on collecting swords in the future and this is our very first set (^_^)

Today's prompt is your favorite spot in the lounge.I'ts a shelf dedicated to my son's achievement in Tae Kwon Do. He's only 5 years old but has entered 2 competitions already and won gold and silver in both competitions (the 2 big trophies and the 2 big medals). The other trophies and medals are from his belt promotion tests and the boards are what he has broken so far. The certificate is a Student of the Day certificate that his Master awarded him during one of his classes. He just took another belt promotion test last Friday and we'll know this week if he's getting his Junior (or semi) Black Belt. If you go to my family blog, I have 2 clips there from his test that you can watch (^_^)
